The UvA-HvA Library will be hosting a four-day workshop in collaboration with the VU and AmsterdamUMC. The workshop aims to provide an introduction to programming with Python to broaden your skills for analyzing and plotting your data. Through live coding you will be introduced to the basics of python, mostly following the software Carpentries curriculum. In addition you will get guidance in applying your newly acquired skills to something relevant for your own research (e.g. by doing some analysis and/or your visualizing data). This latter element is a pilot. It is intended to serve both the purpose of gaining more experience with and building confidence in programming, as well as providing the opportunity to create something useful for your own project that you can build up on after the workshop.
